David masterfully led our faith and HIV conference of more than 50 participants in a group somatic experience that both challenged us and in some ways healed us. What stood out to me about David is that he did not present as a distant “guru;” rather, he shared personal stories, challenges, and vulnerabilities that made his message relatable and not just aspirational. David kept people engaged during his lecture with occasional pauses for reflection and interactive moments. One of the highlights of David’s session was learning that some of us have been breathing incorrectly when taking deep breaths!
